Maple House at Colgate Park

The Maple House was once an integral part - specifically the dairy operation where milk was pasteurized – of the working farm known as Fillmore Farm. The farm was incorporated within the 4,000 acre Colgate Estate. When milk production exceeded the capacity of the Maple House, the building was adapted to process maple syrup into maple sugar.

Located in the middle of Colgate Park, the Maple House has been completely updated to accommodate smaller, less formal gatherings and special events than the nearby 1768 Hubbell Homestead. The ground floor features a large bar, entertainment center, over-sized restrooms and patios. Upstairs is a beautifully restored apartment that can comfortably sleep up to six guests with three bedrooms and a full bath. There is also a beautiful living area with antiques, large brick fireplace and a high-ceilinged kitchen with skylights.

The Maple House is a great place to have a meeting, a bridal shower or bachelor party, a rehearsal dinner, wedding, reunion, special gathering and virtually any occasion intended to bring people together.
